Summary

Exhibit a professional manner and have excellent attendance.

Maintain caring relationships with students, parents and staff.

Support the children in helping them help themselves.

Work with individual and small groups of students in the classroom and playground.

Share in the responsibility for the safety and physical well being of the students at all times. Keep students under auditory and visual supervision. Work with the children while seated at a table, on the floor or moving about the playground. 

Help maintain current and accurate classroom records.

Assist in the care of classroom, playground and teaching materials.

Attend staff meetings and training as requested.

Duties

General Duties:

Support the work of the teacher. Assist with projects, programs, and planning as assigned by the teacher

Work with individual and small groups of students in the classroom and playground.

Share in the responsibility for the safety and physical well being of the students at all times. Keep students under auditory and visual supervision. Work with the children while seated at a table, on the floor or moving about the playground. 

Help maintain current and accurate classroom records.

Must be able to meet all WA. State licensing requirements.
