One of our clients, a medical practice, is looking for a Medical Assistant Supervisor to join their team.

The position is full-time with a great compensation and benefits package.

Contract Type: Full-Time Direct Hire (W2).

Salary : $20-25+/hr, depending on previous experience.

Job Description:

The Medical Assistant Supervisor will oversee the clinical staff, including medical assistants and front desk receptionists, and also work hands-on as a Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include ensuring the clinic follows company and regulatory policies, providing feedback, and taking corrective action when needed. This role requires a blend of management and direct patient care to maintain the highest medical standards.

Responsibilities & duties:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set goals for financial performance, clinical quality, service excellence, patient centered priorities and employee satisfaction.
  • Provide patient care.
  • Look for opportunities to improve business processes, patient care quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage clinical staff and monitor their performance, ensuring they are completing tasks correctly and on time.
  • Ensure the clinic has the right number of skilled employees and manage shift scheduling.
  • Maintain positive relationships with team members, healthcare providers, and administration.
  • Monitor and maintain the clinic's facilities and equipment.
  • Adhere to regulatory agency policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory of medical and non-medical items.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant certification.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures, and medical instruments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Performance Skills:

  • Ability to provide feedback and corrective action when needed.
  • Ability to motivate employees and encourage professional growth.
  • Ability to monitor and maintain facilities and equipment.
  • Ability to adhere to regulatory agency policies and procedures.
