POSITION TITLE: HVAC / Refrigeration Manager
LOCATION: Hopkinton, MA office and retail locations throughout network
DESCRIPTION: Nouria Energy is a fast pace, fast growing retail and wholesale petroleum company operating 300+ locations from Maine into Connecticut and North Carolina through Georgia with an office in Hopkinton, MA. We are seeking a motivated HVAC / Refrigeration Manager who can work autonomously and ensure HVAC / Refrigeration systems throughout the company network stays maintained. Typical responsibilities include: - Oversees and manages all aspects of HVAC / Refrigeration for the entire company
- Responsible for ordering parts / equipment and managing inventory
- Responsible for refurbishing units that are taken out of service
- Manage all technicians that are in the area for HVAC/R
- Responsible for Technician van fleet maintenance
- Assign & Follow-up on work orders in the maintenance tracking system
- Oversee third-party service vendors, negotiating vendor rates, invoice approvals
- Compiling list of HVAC / Refrigeration equipment and recommended replacement
- Setup and manage preventive maintenance schedule
- Participates in training classes to maintain license
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
- Responsible for yearly budget of the HVAC department
- Responsible for various part warehouses for inhouse technicians
- Must understand car wash operations with heating systems
REQUIREMENTS - Licensed in HVAC / Refrigeration
• 5+ Years field experience in HVAC / Refrigeration
- Ability to work 40+ hours a week, with travel required
- Valid driver's license & good driving record
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Rotating on-call schedule for after hour emergencies
This position will require half time spent in the Hopkinton Corp Office and the other half of time in the field hands on working with in-house technicians, maintaining sites, and developing list of equipment and training.
This position is eligible to participate in Nouria's corporate bonus program. Under this program, you can earn up to 10% of your base salary annually. Job Type: Full-time
