WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 3x12: 7am - 7pm.
• Categorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification.
• Applies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity.
• Implements intervention appropriately based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor.
• Identifies emergency situations, observes age and notifies provider accordingly.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.

• 2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty required.

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required.

• Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
