Pride Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist to support our client’s medical facility in San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 . This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension—an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Position Details

• Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675
• Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Pay Range: $45–$55/hour
  (Final rate is based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials, specifically years of directly related experience as listed on the résumé.)
• Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex clinical laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare reagents and assist in evaluating new testing materials and procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance, calibrations, and quality control checks.
• Assess specimen acceptability and review results, ensuring appropriate follow-up on critical values.
• Provide training and oversight to unlicensed laboratory personnel.
• Follow all safety, quality, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Licensure: Current California CLS license required.
• Experience: 0–3 years in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong typing skills; automation experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift 1–25 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Strong hand–eye coordination and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Consistent, punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
