At Northpointe Bank, we believe your career should empower you - to grow, contribute, and find purpose. We're hiring a Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-performing mortgage team in the Salt Lake City area and help deliver an exceptional experience to homebuyers and business partners.

This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, exceptional client service, and a passion for supporting the mortgage lending process from application through closing.

What You'll Do:

• Support the full residential loan lifecycle from application to closing
• Collect, verify, and organize borrower documentation
• Track underwriting conditions and maintain accurate pipeline updates
• Communicate with borrowers, real estate partners, title companies, and internal teams
• Coordinate closings, prepare file updates, and maintain compliance documentation
• Assist Loan Officer(s) with administrative tasks and light marketing support
• Maintain detailed system notes and ensure a smooth borrower experience

What You Bring:

• 1-2+ years of mortgage lending or financial services experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service mindset and professional presence
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office; LOS systems a plus)
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
