Team and Role Overview As an IT and Security Operations Administrator, you will lead the development and implementation of IT management processes and security procedures. You'll be responsible for managing devices, access control, and enterprise networks while collaborating closely with our Cybersecurity and Risk teams to protect Bitso's assets. This role is ideal for proactive individuals who thrive in coordination across teams to enhance existing security practices. Your attention to detail and hands-on approach will be crucial in strengthening our security protocols. Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee security controls to protect devices and networks.
  • Manage IT and Security tools including MDM, EDR, IAM, IDS, and SIEM.
  • Establish security policies for company assets.
  • Control access to business applications.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT support operations in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage the company’s IT deployment processes effectively.
  • Administer hardware and software upgrades and security patches.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for IT support as needed.
  • Enhance the security of devices and infrastructure.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • 4+ years of experience in IT management and security operations.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in:
  • Implementing IT management and security tools like MDM, network controllers, IAM, and EDR.
  • Developing and executing security alert policies.
  • Working with endpoint detection and response tools.
  • Managing antimalware systems.
  • Network administration practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in security operations and incident response.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS, or security certifications).
  • A history of engaging with security topics through research or publications.
  • Willingness to take on a dynamic and challenging role.
