Responsibilities And Duties Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance with all HVAC units, refrigerators, chillers, reach in Cooler, chill water AC, walk in Cooler/Freezers…Commercial AC Inspect and test system components, including electrical connections, motors, and compressors. Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC/R systems. Repair all HVAC units, refrigerators, chillers, reach in Cooler, chill water AC, walk in Cooler/Freezer, Commercial AC Repair or replace defective components, such as thermostats, compressors, and fan motors. Perform emergency repairs when necessary. System Upgrades: Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve energy efficiency and performance. Stay updated on the latest HVAC/R technologies and advancements. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Complete work orders and service reports. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with stadium departments to explain system issues and recommended solutions. Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service. Qualifications And Skills Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification (required). Additional certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence) are a plus. Experience: 4 years of experience in HVAC/refrigeration, maintenance, and repair. Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems as they relate to HVACR. Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools effectively. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, standing, and working in confined spaces. PERK if prior work performed in stadium setting (BUT NOT REQUIRED) - Also PERK if any type of concession stands, kitchens, chillers, and stadium AHU’s experience.
