Highway Superintendent The Town of Colrain seeks a full-time Highway Superintendent. Position is responsible for the overall operations of the Highway Department and Transfer Station, managing both personnel and equipment. Must demonstrate substantial computer literacy and execute a variety of tasks requiring skills and technical knowledge pertinent to the construction, operation, repair, and maintenance of Town highway systems including winter road treatment and snow removal operations. Position also requires experience in personnel management, budget preparation and maintenance, capital equipment planning, record keeping, and excellent written and verbal communications skills. Requirements include a valid CDL Class B driver's license with air brake endorsements and minimum HEML or 2B hoisting engineer license. Position requires on-call, year-round availability. Starting Salary Range is $85,500-$91,000 annually DOQ; benefit package available.
