** This role can be worked remotely but requires the ability to be onsite in our Lewiston, Main office / storage space. Onsite requirements will likely be 2-3 times a month, but candidate will need to be able to get to the office within one business day to build and ship a laptop in case of an urgent business need.

HELP DESK & IT MANAGER
Listed in the Inc. 5000 for multiple consecutive years as the fastest-growing Talent Management platform in America, we are seeking an Help Desk & IT Manager to lead our IT function. This role is a part of the IT function at ClearCompany and sits within our R&D Department. The IT group consists of a Logistics Coordinator and a Help Desk team.
The compensation for this position is $105,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
We are a fully remote company, utilizing SaaS tools, and IT supports our end users in their usage of 80+ 3rd party software applications and our physical assets. ClearCompany is a SOC 2 certified company, and the IT team is responsible for our end-user security support and compliance. The Help Desk & IT Manager will provide personnel management to the IT team members, financial oversight of our physical and logical asset inventory, and project management for the IT and security-related projects run by the IT manager and team.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
- As Help Desk & IT Manager at ClearCompany you will join a talented, collaborative, and inclusive engineering team to help support the IT mission of delivering seamless service to our employees as if they were in the office.
- You will report to the Director of DevOps & IT, and take project and work direction from our Information Security Officer
- You will manage the IT Specialist team, currently 2 personnel, who provide white glove technical support to our employees as they use our laptops, peripherals and 80+ SaaS apps across the company.
- You will manage the IT Logistics Coordinator who handles physical and logical asset purchasing and lifecycles.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee IT equipment assets and purchasing and budget for new hires, upgrades, and replacements following standard ClearCompany processes
- Own provisioning, purchasing, and compliance for IDs in company used software
- Work with HR to coordinate on and off-boarding events and process
- Work with the Finance Team to track and maintain appropriate financial records and prepare budgets and future looking forecasting
- Oversee all inventory being ordered, processed, received and distributed in the ClearCompany application Physical Asset Inventory tool and WOW
- Document all process and procedures used in the role
- Manage customer support for the ClearCompany End User population of 250+ users and growing
- Management of a growing team which currently has 3 employees
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 2+ experience managing an IT customer support function for 200+ end users
- 5-10yrs working in an IT support environment, including end-user support responsibilities
- An eye for detail and ability to organize information and assets.
- Expert end user skills on a computer, including working heavily with SaaS end-user applications. Experience with G-Suite preferred but not required.
- Advanced deskside physical troubleshooting skills. The ability to attach peripherals, test computer functions and experience with Apple preferred but not required
- Experience working with security and compliance topics, working in a SOC 2 certified environment a plus
- Experience with financial concepts and asset management·
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- High School Diploma
- The ability to be onsite in our Lewiston, ME office / storage space
