Located in the Press Kitchen lounge at the club, it is the perfect private area for all levels of golfers.
Lakeshore – Illinois Center is seeking a Golf Instructor to play a key role in member engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport, while possessing strong interpersonal skills. Works with members to have a high-end experience with our golf simulator located in our Press Kitchen/Member Lounge. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and provide exceptional service to our members and guests. The candidate should have experience in golf instruction, swing analysis, and private golf performance training. We are looking for someone, who wants to develop an extensive golf program around our indoor golf simulator.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Strong knowledge of golf programming.
Learn golf simulator functionality.
Clean designated golf simulator pre/post class.
Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have experience as a golf coach and/or instructor.
Golf instructor certification/TPI/PGA experience a plus but not required
Affiliation with a nearby golf course is a plus, but not a requirement.
Experience working with clients in a one-on-one setting and groups as well.
Experience teaching a variety of clients
Knowledge of golf equipment including the golf simulator, golf clubs, and golf balls.
Completing necessary administrative duties to follow-up with clients, communicate with team members, and develop fitness plans
Demonstrating effectiveness in client retention
Pay Scale
Commission. Based on percentage of golf lessons taught and programming created. Commensurate with experience.
