Job Description

Position Overview: The FP&A Manager will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support for a publicly traded Cannabis company. The Manager will also work closely with the CFO and accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Additionally, this position will have specific expertise in the cannabis industry, as well as public accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insight into business performance.
• Provide recommendations on cost savings and operational improvements.
• Assist with the preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
• Analyze and review financial results with senior management.
• Work with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities in the cannabis industry.
• Maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis, and/or public accounting.
• A strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry is preferred.
