Job Overview

Diamond State Masonry Inc is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field operations on commercial, industrial, and government projects. This role is responsible for managing small to large crews, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong background in masonry and concrete work who can balance production goals with employee development and jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities

As Foreman, you will:

  • Lead and supervise small to large crews on masonry and concrete projects.
  • Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and production goals.
  • Coordinate daily schedules, work assignments, and equipment usage.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Monitor jobsite progress, resolve challenges, and provide clear direction to the crew.
  • Complete and submit daily reports, including labor hours, production updates, and safety logs.
  • Mentor and train crew members, supporting their skill development and career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and project-specific guidelines.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial masonry, concrete, or related construction work.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate small to large crews on active jobsites.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Experience operating rough terrain forklifts is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and production scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret project specifications and plans.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
