Memorial Union Markets at UW-Madison campus is hiring a leader who is passionate about crafting amazing coffee, serving awesome ice cream, and creating connections with every customer and staff member.
Qualified applicants have experience in the food and beverage service, or coffee industry. Our supervisors work opposite and in conjunction with the manager to ensure the flow of business is supported by a manager throughout the entire day. The three market units are open between 6:30am to 11:00pm. The ideal candidate will show flexibility in working all three of an open, middle, and closing shift. We strive to work with each employee regarding their schedule when possible, but employees must be able to work with a fully variable schedule. High-volume times include the first two weeks of May and the whole month of September.

The Wisconsin Union operates from several buildings on the UW-Madison campus including Memorial Union, Union South, Fluno Center, Pyle Center, University Club, Red Gym, and the Student Activity Center. The Wisconsin Union is a financially self-supporting division of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Financial support for the organization is provided by income earned by over thirty food service units and a variety of nonfood units such as games, guest rooms, space rentals and campus vending. Substantial support is also provided by student fees. The total annual organizational budget is approximately $60 million dollars.
Student Affairs is led by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Our staff is dedicated to serving students and to helping them succeed in and out of the classroom in areas including health and well-being, identity and inclusion, leadership and engagement, and student advocacy.
