• Facilities Maintenance Technician- McDonald's Locations* English## Job Description**Position Overview:** Capital City McD, Inc., a family-owned McDonald’s franchisee operating 16 restaurants in Springfield, Jacksonville, Beardstown, Mt. Sterling, and Havana, is seeking a dedicated **Facilities Maintenance Technician** to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the operational excellence of our restaurants. If you are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoy working independently, we encourage you to apply!**Key Responsibilities:*** Serve as the **internal Brush Butler Technician**, performing routine cleaning and maintenance of Taylor soft-serve machines **across all locations.*** Complete a variety of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:* Equipment upkeep and repair.* Facility maintenance and minor improvements.* Troubleshooting and addressing operational issues in a timely manner.* **Travel regularly between restaurant locations to ensure consistent service and maintenance schedules.*** Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and equipment serviced.* Communicate effectively with restaurant managers to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.**Qualifications:*** Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field is preferred.* Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.* Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between restaurant locations.* Physical capability to perform hands-on maintenance work, including lifting and bending.* Flexible availability, as occasional evening or weekend work may be required.**Compensation:*** Starting pay: $17 - $20/hour, based on experience.* Higher compensation may be available for candidates with extensive relevant experience.* Be part of a growing, family-owned organization committed to providing **hope and opportunity** to our employees and communities.* Work in a dynamic and supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.* Enjoy the satisfaction of playing a key role in ensuring our restaurants operate at their best.******This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA.
