Job Description

United Solar, a renowned leader in the solar energy industry, is seeking an Experienced Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our innovative solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. Your expertise and knowledge in the solar industry will help clients make informed decisions about transitioning to clean and sustainable energy sources.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of customers' energy needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to design customized solar systems that align with their financial and energy goals.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, educating customers about the benefits of solar energy and showcasing our products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure customer agreements and close sales.
  • Coordinate effective project handoffs to installation teams, ensuring smooth and timely project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and post-installation support.
  • Stay updated on the latest solar industry trends, technological advancements, and government incentives to effectively advise customers.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand our customer base and generate leads.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Solar Consultant.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and system components.
  • Strong understanding of financial incentives, rebates, and tax credits related to solar energy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
