About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Security Operations to ensure the safety of employees, guests, and property with a focus on extraordinary service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall security activities, including the development and maintenance of operating budgets, and security operational plans for special events. A key aspect of the role is to instill teamwork, mentor employees, and ensure compliance with laws and policies. The Executive Director will also work closely with various hotel departments to maintain the integrity of the resort's ambiance and promote its amenities and services. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred), and have a background in hospitality, security, and law enforcement. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of leadership and management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have a valid Nevada Gaming License, CPR, and Alcohol Awareness certification, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong leadership qualities, customer service skills, and the ability to deal with problems while maintaining a positive attitude are essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for the recruitment, selection, and training of security personnel and must have a thorough understanding of security functions and emergency response protocols.
