Executive Chef - New Restaurant, Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge

Location: Lynchburg, Virginia

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at an exceptional new restaurant, wine bar, and cocktail lounge. This is a chef-driven concept that will feature a menu designed to impress, complemented by high-end cocktails and a vibrant ambiance.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of all back-of-house (BOH) operations , including food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and staff management.
• Develop and refine a chef-driven menu that captures the essence of fine dining and seasonal trends.
• Hire, train, and supervise culinary team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Maintain the highest standards of kitchen efficiency, food quality, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to align BOH and FOH operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor kitchen performance to achieve financial and operational goals in alignment with projected $4M annual sales.
• Lead with a hands-on management style , participating actively in both service and kitchen operations.

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven Executive Chef experience , preferably in high-volume or fine dining establishments.
• Creative culinary vision, with the ability to develop innovative menu concepts and stay ahead of dining trends.
• Strong leadership skills with a talent for developing and motivating kitchen teams.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A hands-on approach, ready to inspire your team and deliver extraordinary culinary experiences.
