Job Title: Translator

Job Summary:

Responsibilities Include:

• Translating French materials including videos, social media, brochures, agreements, and other documents into fluent, idiomatic U.S. English
• Conveying accurate substance and details during oral interpretation
• Preserving tone and context during written translation
• Conducting research to support translation of specialized terminology
• Proofreading, reviewing and verifying translations for accuracy, clarity, and quality assurance
• Comparing translations to match conformity of meaning of source documents
• Engage in oral translation and interpretation as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Must be a native speaker of U.S. English
• Display fluent written command of English and French, covering a wide range of terminology and specialized vocabulary in many fields

Work Setting and Environment:

• Monday - Friday, normal working hours
• Work is to be performed remotely
• May entail travel between the U.S. and Canada
