Email Marketing Coordinator

We are hiring for an Email Marketing Coordinator . This role is a great opportunity for a detail?oriented communicator who enjoys blending creativity with analytics. The Team You Will Be Joining

As the oldest continuously published magazine in Texas, Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine has been the voice of the Texas outdoors for more than 80 years, shining the spotlight on a multitude of outdoor recreation opportunities including state parks, fishing, hunting, camping, birding, paddling, boating and travel, as well as wildlife and environmental issues across the Lone Star State. No one covers the Texas outdoors and outdoor Texans like we do.

Major Duties

• Build, test, and deploy email campaigns in GovDelivery, ensuring optimal rendering across web and mobile platforms.
• Write engaging, brand?aligned email copy and compelling subject/preheader lines, incorporating editorial feedback.
• Source, resize, and optimize images for visual consistency and performance.
• Insert and manage banner ads, ensuring proper placement and tracking performance.
• Compile and present end?of?month performance reports, including delivery rates, open rates, and click?through metrics.
• Maintain and update shared tracking spreadsheets for banner ad placements, advertiser agreements, and campaign results.
• Download and upload new subscriber lists weekly from the SFG portal to maintain an updated GovDelivery database.
• Create and manage promotional subscription pages linked to campaign?specific keycodes and special offers.
• Track and analyze promotional campaign performance using SFG portal data.
• Participate in monthly check?in calls with the publisher to review campaign progress and performance insights.

What Were Looking For

• Proficiency with drag?and?drop email editors/builders.
• Experience writing and editing email copy aligned with a brands tone and voice.
• Familiarity with compiling monthly performance recaps and reporting on key metrics (e.g., open rates, click?through rates).
• Previous experience implementing and managing email list?building strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.
• Availability for virtual meetings and team check?ins as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience analyzing data to identify trends, draw insights, and present findings through storytelling.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and communicating results clearly.

Exciting Opportunity Details

Rate: $38.00/hr.
Length of Engagement: October 2025 - August 31st, 2026
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday (Part?time hours; ~15 hours/month)
Location: Austin, TX 78744 (Remote to Austin, TX only; after training period)
