Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025/2026 school year, focusing on Early Childhood and PreK education. This contract role requires an Arkansas Special Education Teaching License and offers the opportunity to work as an itinerant educator, traveling to multiple schools and early childhood programs, including ABC Centers and Head Starts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in inclusive classrooms and through pull-out support for individual students.
• Deliver morning teaching sessions primarily, with afternoons dedicated to administrative tasks, testing, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) during students' naptime.
• Support a diverse range of learners, with an emphasis on students with autism.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Arkansas Special Education Teaching License.
• Experience teaching Early Childhood/PreK students in a special education setting.
• Preferred experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Ability to travel between various school sites within the designated area.

Location:

• Position based in Hampton, Arkansas, serving multiple early childhood education programs across the region.
