The Director, Partnerships Sales will assist the VP, Sales & Marketing with identifying and creating new marketing partnerships to generate revenue for T-Mobile Center. This position will create and secure new business relationships and associated revenue. Key Responsibilities include building and cultivating relationships with potential clients, making solicited and unsolicited contacts, networking, attending community and other events to maximize sales opportunities, reaching out to potential client executive level management to create partnerships, responding to leads and account inquiries, closing and executing new deals, documenting activities according to SOPs, preparing sponsorship presentations tailored to client needs, pitching event/sponsorship presentations, evaluating historical data to create sponsorship strategies, reviewing potential clients for partnership opportunities, following company SOPs for contracting, invoicing, execution, and follow-up, assisting other departments to ensure event schedules, keeping management informed of progress toward revenue goals, and assisting VP with analysis, research, and planning. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving problems. Qualifications include a BA/BS degree (MBA preferred) in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field, 8-10 years of related work experience, proven sales success, superior communication skills, expertise in identifying opportunities and negotiating solutions, ability to manage and motivate a sales team, exceptional presentation and multitasking skills, basic computer skills, ability to calculate figures related to sales, and flexibility to work event nights and community programming.
