The Role We Want You For:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of tradeshows, conferences, and some company events. This role requires a blend of creativity, detail orientation, and project management skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Plan, organize, and execute tradeshows, conferences, and other events that align with the company's objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, equipment rental, and event setup.
  • Develop and manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.

Budget Management:

  • Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and event venues to secure favorable terms.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for events.
  • Utilize social media and other digital platforms to enhance event visibility and engagement
  • Learn the “Clayco pitch” to travel and support teams as an in-booth resource

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, sponsors, and exhibitors to ensure smooth collaboration.

Post-Event Evaluation:

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide reports on outcomes and ROI.
  • Gather feeback to assess the event's success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management software
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as events require.
