Position Summary:

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill the role of Controller to join the Fiscal Department’s team of professionals. The Controller is responsible for managing the accuracy and productivity of the day-to-day activities of fiscal functions, including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credit and collections, payroll, fixed asset records, general accounting, and cost accounting. The Controller works closely with the Chief Financial Officer in the development and evaluation of financial plans to ensure consistency with organizational goals. The Controller is responsible for Barrett Hospital & HealthCare’s budget process, financial audits, cost reports, tax and other regulatory filings. The Controller is also responsible for managing the Fiscal Services Department staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, master’s degree in business administration or accounting and CPA, preferred.
• Fifth year college or university program certificate in a business or accounting program
• minimum of five years of progressive experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in business or accounting with a minimum of ten years of progressive experience.
• Supervision/management experience preferred.
