Job Description

Our client is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their fast-growing team. The  Compliance Manager will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to strengthen and maintain a comprehensive compliance program. This individual contributor position ensures the organization’s products and services are delivered in full alignment with applicable federal and state laws, while proactively managing regulatory risk. The role is a blend of day-to-day compliance oversight and active participation in shaping the company’s risk and governance strategies. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic compliance reviews, monitoring, and testing to verify adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Track and interpret regulatory developments, recommending updates to business practices, policies, and procedures as needed.
• Support company-wide risk assessments and targeted compliance audits.
• Provide compliance training and practical guidance to employees at all levels.
• Prepare and present compliance-related reports for senior management, the Board, and governance committees.
• Oversee fraud prevention, BSA/AML compliance, and other risk control programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state laws, including ECOA, TILA, FCRA, UDAAP, FDCPA, GLBA, and TCPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in regulatory compliance within financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state consumer protection regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;
• other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
