Communications Coordinator III

Service Type : 27-week Contract

Location : Philadelphia, PA - Onsite

Position Summary:

The Communications Coordinator III will support the development and execution of internal and external communication initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned communications professional with 4–6 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The contractor will work under the direction of the Communications Manager to ensure consistent messaging and effective outreach across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and edit communications materials for campaigns, including emails, newsletters, press releases, and social media content.
• Provide timely daily communication updates to internal stakeholders.
• Compile and maintain press lists and targeted media contact databases.
• Monitor media coverage and assemble press clip packages for distribution and archival.
• Assist in planning and coordinating special events, including logistics, communications, and promotional efforts.

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in media monitoring tools and database management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting events and working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
