Job Title: CME QA Tester
Rate: Market Rate
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 Month Contract

Responsibilities

• Experience with breaking down the requirements, preparing test strategy/test plan documents, preparing test designs & setting up test environment
• Experience in test case Authoring, Execution and Reporting
• Strong understanding of testing life cycle, including Agile methodologies
• Experience with end to end testing, interaction/integration with multiple downstream systems
• Familiarity with Java based environments & IDEs like Eclipse/IntelliJ
• Knowledge of test and defect management tools (Quality Center, Jira)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and able to write simple to complex queries in Oracle/SQL server DB
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work well in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with development of test harness (Java) as part of internal testing a plus
• Automated test script execution, experience with automation tool a plus
• Financial domain knowledge a plus

Desired Skill Sets

• API testing experience
• Experience with Java, SQL/Oracle, Unix
• Understanding of trading concepts
