We are seeking Clinical Pharmacists to join a reputable medical center in State College, PA . This is a permanent opportunity with relocation assistance available. Pharmacists will have the chance to grow as clinicians by practicing across multiple areas instead of being limited to a single floor.
Position Highlights:
Unit-based clinical pharmacist role with focus on Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care/CCU
Opportunity to also participate on the Antibiotic Stewardship Team
Engage in acute patient scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma
Participate in multidisciplinary teams and clinical rounds
Schedule: Variable 8-hour shifts (primarily days/afternoons)
Key Responsibilities:
Medication order entry, verification, and profile review for appropriateness
Provide clinical services per patient population needs
Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults per protocol
Deliver drug information and support to clinical staff
Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License OR eligibility to obtain (out-of-state candidates welcome)
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
PGY1 Residency OR minimum 3 years of recent clinical hospital experience
Strong knowledge in ED/CCU/critical care preferred
Willingness to travel and relocate if needed
