Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) - Business Systems Analyst
Pay: $60 - $70/hr
Location: Los Angeles, CA – near Downtown
Work Model: 95% Remote with a few onsite meetings each quarter.
Job Type: Contract (6+ Months)

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking government agency committed to enhancing efficiency and service delivery. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst to join their team and help lead the customization and upgrade efforts for their Oracle EBS ERP solution.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements to define current and future state.
- Planning and Coordination : Collaborate in developing a project plan outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including technology teams and Business Units, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Validation Testing : Plan and execute validation testing to ensure that requirements are met and the system functions correctly.
- Gap Analysis : Conduct gap analysis to compare current state vs. future state and identify areas needing improvement.
- Collaborate with Internal and Third-Party Teams : Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless and functionality of the software.
- Defining Scope and Milestones : Define project scope and milestones, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the government entity.
- Testing and Action Development : Coordinate and participate in testing activities, and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Progress Tracking and Reporting : Track progress and provide regular status reports.
- Ensure Project Objectives Alignment : Ensure that project objectives align with the overall goals of the government entity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in enterprise and/or public sector projects.
- Extensive experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Strong skills in validation testing and conducting gap analysis.
- Experience with Oracle EBS ERP Projects and/or other Tier 1 ERP solutions is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and strong soft skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
