Overview

Assistant Civil Structural Designer at C&I Engineering. This is a full-time role within the Civil/Structural team, focused on developing structural layouts for facilities such as refineries, distilleries, and consumer packaging facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create structural steel, reinforced concrete, and site design drawings.
• Use 3D modeling software to design structures (CADWorx preferred).
• Work with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Assist others in gathering field information under supervision.
• Check own work for completeness before submitting to leads.
• File plots and check prints in the project discipline file.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree with a specialization in computer-aided drafting and design, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a bachelors degree in engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Drivers license
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
