Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our compliance team as an entry-level AML Compliance Analyst. In this role, you will support the execution of the organization’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) programs. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of relevant experience looking to launch a career in financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews for new and existing clients.
• Monitor and review transactions for suspicious activity using AML surveillance systems.
• Investigate and escalate unusual or potentially suspicious activity in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Support the preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for review and filing.
• Maintain documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping for AML-related reviews.
• Stay current on relevant regulations, industry trends, and internal policies.
• Assist with periodic AML audits and regulatory examinations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as operations, legal, and risk management to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Internship or up to 1 year of experience in compliance, risk, banking, or a similar field preferred (not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with AML laws and regulations (e.g., BSA, USA PATRIOT Act) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AML monitoring tools or case management systems.
• Bilingual language skills are a plus.
• Interest in obtaining CAMS or similar certification in the future.
