Job Responsibilities Department Responsibilities may vary which may include: Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct Keep accurate record of shipment details when cargo is arriving from worldwide points Prepare and palletize cargo as needed Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operations of related equipment Stage cargo for outgoing flights and ensuring shipments comply with all domestic and international requirements Sort and process priority postal products in a time critical environment Operate ground equipment, including tugs, pallet jacks, and forklifts Perform routing cleaning of facilities and work areas Follow safety regulations which include proper use of ground equipment and wearing proper safety items All other duties as assigned Additional Requirements: Experience in warehouse settings is preferred, but not required Must be able to proficiently speak, read and write in English Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly Must be able to pass skills test Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, and able to continually bend, twist, and raise arms above head Strong work ethic and positive mindset Availability to work flexible working hours (including weekends & holidays) Must be able to obtain and maintain all required City of Houston and Customs Border Protection badge and seal Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old SIMOS
