What we’re looking for… Entry level candidates with a degree related to Supply Chain Management or International Business. Air freight forwarding candidates with 1-5 years of experience. We remain competitive by offering a wide range of logistics services, including: ocean and air freight, rail, trucking, warehousing and distribution, customs brokerage, cargo insurance and more. About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Coordinates with airlines to book air export shipments, prepares shipping documents, tracks and traces shipments and provides updated quotations. Creates internal customer profiles in CargoWise to provide all departments with detailed customer information when needed. Maintains effective communication with internal and external parties through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and in-person interaction. Generates and monitors reports daily. Creates invoices to be processed for billing purposes. Addresses internal and external inquiries and directs to the correct department if needed. Maintains knowledge of dangerous goods compliance by checking shipping documents and inspecting shipments if needed. Ensures that shipments meet the required TSA regulations. Work Schedule New York Office 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST (Air department is required to work one Sunday per month on a rotational basis) Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office. Education & Experience Associate's degree preferred and six months to one year of related experience. Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry. Salary $55,000-$65,000 annually based on education and experience level.
