Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Company & Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Accounts Receivable's Responsibilities:

• Process and record customer payments, ensuring accuracy in all accounts receivable transactions.
• Generate and distribute invoices based on company policies and customer agreements.
• Prepare reports on customer account status as requested.
• Monitor and manage outstanding balances, following up on overdue accounts as necessary.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve past-due balances in coordination with the CFO and other team members.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and address any variances with the CFO.
• Work closely with the Controller to ensure accounts receivable records are up to date.
• Assist in preparing and issuing monthly billing statements.
• Maintain organized records and retrieve financial documents as needed.
• Communicate updates or changes in customer information to relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Identify and report any issues impacting accounts receivable processes to the Controller.
• Maintain, organize, and distribute accounting records and reports as required.

Accounts Receivable's Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or Enterprise
