The Atlantic Group has partnered with a private equity firm in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Accountant to start working remotely as soon as possible.
Company Description: Private Equity Firm - New York City - $2bn AUM
Role Description: This is a part-time, remote, role for a Management Company / Accounts Payable Associate at Midtown Private Equity Firm. The Management Company / Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for supporting the Assistant Controller in Management Company financial statement preparation, overseeing Accounts Payable invoice processing, and reviewing expense reports.
Work Schedule/Benefits Information: 3 days per week (24 hours per week minimum) / flexible on which days of the week. 24 guaranteed hours per week - will pay by the hour if 24 hours is exceeded
• 99% remote (in person interview for final interview and one or two days in office per quarter - so needs to live in tri-state area)
• 1099
• No health benefits
• 15 days of paid vacation per year
Qualifications:
• Must live in the Manhattan area
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
• Relevant experience in financial services
• Prior experience with accounts payable
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
