Job Summary:
The 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nightly warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and staff management. This role ensures that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during the 3rd shift.
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed performance goals.
Ensure timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures.
Monitor team productivity and provide coaching, training, or corrective actions as needed.
Enforce safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in real-time.
Perform shift reports and communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and management.
Conduct equipment and facility inspections, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
Collaborate with logistics, inventory, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic MS Office applications.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) if necessary.
Willingness to work overnight hours and occasional weekends or holidays.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement training.
OSHA certification or safety training.
Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Payrate: $25.00/hr
